A single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) with conjugated polymer molecules is analyzed via optical spectroscopy. The presence of strongly localized excitonic states in the SWCNT is confirmed using time-integrated photoluminescence (PL). The PL spectrum exhibits extremely narrow width (~0.8 meV) which is attributed to the strong confinement of the states by polymer molecules. In addition, I observed that the excited states are gradually filled as a function of the excitation power, which supports the localized excitonic behavior. Only the ground excitonic state is observed at low excitation powers, but three additional PL peaks appear as the excitation power is increased. Especially, the power-dependent PL spectrum shows a blueshift and increased width, which can be elucidated in terms of quantum confined stark effect and the screening of induced electric fields. Overall, I demonstrate that the presence of polymer molecules induces several localized states in a single SWCNT.  相似文献

This paper completes the enumeration of quasi-symmetric 2-(64,24,46) designs supported by the dual code C of the binary linear code C spanned by the lines of AG(3,4), initiated in Rodrigues and Tonchev (2015). It is shown that C supports exactly 30,264 nonisomorphic quasi-symmetric 2-(64,24,46) designs. The automorphism groups of the related strongly regular graphs are computed.  相似文献

Multiferroics are gathering solid-state matter in which several types of orders are simultaneously allowed, as ferroelectricity, ferromagnetism (or antiferromagnetism), ferroelasticity, or ferrotoroidicity. Among all, the ferroelectric/ferromagnetic couple is the most intensively studied because of potential applications in novel low-power magnetoelectric devices. Switching of one order thanks to the other necessarily proceeds via the nucleation and growth of coupled domains. This review is an introduction to the basics of ferroelectric/ferromagnetic domain formation and to the recent microscopy techniques devoted to domains imaging, providing new insights into the archetypal multiferroic domain morphologies. Some relevant examples are also given to illustrate some of the unexpected properties of domain walls, as well as the way these domain walls can be manipulated altogether thanks to various types of magnetoelectric coupling.  相似文献

Based on a refinement of the notion of internal sets in Colombeau's theory, so-called strongly internal sets, we introduce the space of generalized smooth functions, a maximal extension of Colombeau generalized functions. Generalized smooth functions as morphisms between sets of generalized points form a sub-category of the category of topological spaces. In particular, they can be composed unrestrictedly.  相似文献
